Music & Arts seeks a Part-Time Senior Sales Associate to support our mission-driven retail environment. In this role, you'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons while delivering outstanding service. You'll drive sales, meet performance goals, and support merchandising and store operations. Collaborating with school service reps, you'll help connect local music programs with quality instruments and services, contributing to a student-focused, community-oriented culture with opportunities to grow in music retail. Responsibilities Provide consultative sales support for instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons Meet and exceed individual and store sales and performance goals Deliver outstanding customer service to students, parents, and educators Support in-store merchandising, stocking, and visual standards Process sales, rentals, and lesson enrollments accurately in POS systems Partner with school service reps to support local music programs Assist with events, promotions, and community outreach efforts Maintain product knowledge of band, orchestra, and related gear Help resolve customer issues and coordinate repairs or service Contribute to a positive, collaborative, student-focused culture Required Skills Retail sales Point-of-sale (POS) systems Customer service Product knowledge - band and orchestra instruments Merchandising and stocking Cash handling and basic math Sales reporting and goal tracking Lesson and rental program enrollment Conflict resolution Basic computer skills
