Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Parts Counter Associate, where you'll be the vital link between our powersports service department and our valued customers. In this energetic role, you'll provide expert assistance in identifying, sourcing, and selling powersports parts and accessories. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting the correct powersports parts and accessories by utilizing product knowledge and inventory management systems. Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle cash, credit, or electronic payments with professionalism. Maintain organized stock levels by stocking shelves, managing inventory control, and conducting regular inventory audits. Provide technical advice on vehicle maintenance, powersports repair procedures, and vehicle systems to help customers make informed decisions. Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely order fulfillment and parts availability for repairs and maintenance. Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, product recommendations, and follow-up to enhance customer satisfaction. Keep up-to-date with powersports diagnostics, parts management trends, and dealership procedures to improve service quality. Requirements Proven experience in powersports parts sales or dealership environments is highly preferred. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills combined with powersports diagnostics knowledge. Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills to engage effectively with diverse clients. Familiarity with inventory management software such as Lightspeed, and POS systems. Knowledge of powersports repair processes, vehicle systems, and accessories is required to assist customers accurately. Organizational skills and retail math proficiency are necessary for inventory control and order fulfillment tasks. Ability to handle cash transactions confidently while maintaining high standards of phone etiquette and professional appearance.
