The Assistant Manager will play a key role in ensuring a high-quality member experience, driving membership and product sales, leading staff, and ensuring smooth facility operations. This Full-time role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about health and wellness, has excellent communication skills, and is proficient in using the Mindbody client management system. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the General Manager in daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and member services Drive membership sales, renewals, and upgrades through active prospecting, lead follow up and effective closing techniques Provide exceptional customer service and handle member inquiries, feedback, and conflict resolution. Supervise, train, and motivate front desk staff into delivering a consistent and engaging member experience Ensure the cleanliness, safety and organization of the facility and equipment. Monitor and maintain compliance with health, safety and company operational standards Assist in planning and executing local marketing campaigns, community events, and member engagement activities. Step into the General Manager's role as needed to ensure continuity of leadership.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, fitness, or related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in sales and customer service, preferably in the fitness, hospitality, or retail industry. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of gym operations, fitness services, and industry trends. Familiarity with gym management software and point of sale system (Mindbody). Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. .
