Position Summary The Assistant Store Manager will work closely with the owners to help oversee the daily operation of Vriende. This position supports all areas of the business, including customer service, retail sales, merchandising, inventory, coffee service, and the deli. The Assistant Store Manager helps ensure every customer receives a friendly, welcoming experience while supporting the success and growth of the business. Schedule Approximately 30 hours per week Flexible schedule based on business needs Rotating Saturdays required Sundays off Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service Assist with the daily operation of the store Support deli, coffee, retail, and boutique operations Help merchandise gifts, home décor, and seasonal displays Receive, stock, and organize inventory Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store Assist with opening and closing procedures Support and encourage fellow team members Help resolve customer questions and concerns professionally Work closely with the owners to help build a successful new business Qualifications Friendly, dependable, and professional Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work independently Retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred Leadership experience is a plus Willingness to learn all aspects of the business What We Offer Starting wage of $16.00 per hour Approximately 30 hours per week Paid training Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunity for advancement as the business grows The chance to be part of Vriende's founding team and help build something exceptional for the Benson community Interview Information Selected applicants will be contacted to schedule interviews August 11-14 .
