Job Overview Join our dedicated team at Blue Butterfly Thrift Store as a supervisor and assist in leading the daily operations of our vibrant retail environment dedicated to community service and sustainable shopping. In this energetic role, you will supervise staff, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain inventory control—all while promoting our mission to support local initiatives. Duties Supervise daily store operations, including opening, closing, and shift management to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to policies. Lead, train, and develop staff on customer service standards, sales techniques, inventory procedures, and POS system usage. Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, merchandising, pricing, and restocking to maximize sales potential. Oversee cash handling procedures, cashiering activities, and POS system operations with precision and accountability. Foster a welcoming environment by providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining phone etiquette. Experience Proven supervisory experience in retail or thrift store management with a strong background in team leadership and operational oversight. Knowledge of retail sales strategies, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling procedures. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills necessary for managerial conversations, staff coaching, customer interactions, and operational coordination.
