Automotive Sales Consultant We are looking for a motivated, outgoing Sales Consultant to join our team. Automotive sales experience is helpful, but it is not required . We are looking for the right person—someone who enjoys talking to people, is willing to learn, follows through, and is ready to work. This position is about more than simply selling vehicles. Our Sales Consultants help customers throughout the entire buying process, from the first phone call or online inquiry to selecting the right vehicle, completing the purchase, and following up after the sale. What We're Looking For The right candidate should: Not be afraid to talk to people and start conversations with customers Be friendly, professional, confident, and approachable Have a strong work ethic and be ready to work Be willing to learn our vehicles, products, and sales process Respond quickly and professionally to internet and phone leads Consistently follow up with customers by phone, text, and email Assist customers in selecting vehicles that fit their wants, needs, and budget Be comfortable asking questions and listening to customers Work with sales managers and other team members to help complete the sales process Maintain relationships with customers after the sale and ask for referrals and repeat business Keep customer information and follow-up activity organized in our CRM Be dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude Be willing to work Saturdays and other scheduled dealership hours What Makes Someone Successful Here You do not need to be a stereotypical salesperson to succeed in this position. Primary Responsibilities Greet and assist customers visiting the dealership, respond to incoming sales leads, make follow-up calls and texts, schedule appointments, demonstrate vehicles, conduct test drives, assist with vehicle selection, work with management to structure purchases, follow customers through the sales process, maintain accurate CRM records, and provide continued customer service after the sale. Qualifications A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required. Applicants should have strong communication and people skills, basic computer and smartphone proficiency, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work as part of a team. Previous automotive sales experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person with the right attitude and work ethic.
