Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM We are seeking an experienced Flooring Sales Assistant to support a busy, established flooring sales operation serving multifamily and commercial customers. This is not a general administrative assistant position. Flooring industry experience is important. The ideal candidate will have approximately 3-5 years of flooring experience and already understand the terminology, products, processes, coordination, and customer service involved in a high-volume flooring environment. Direct multifamily flooring experience is preferred, but candidates with strong commercial flooring or high-volume residential flooring experience are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and sales support to an experienced flooring sales professional
• Assist with quotes, proposals, estimates, orders, and customer documentation
• Coordinate flooring orders, product information, scheduling, and project details
• Communicate with customers, property managers, vendors, installers, and internal team members
• Track active projects and follow up on orders, outstanding information, deadlines, and next steps
• Maintain accurate customer, pricing, order, and project records
• Assist with flooring samples, product selections, specifications, and sales materials
• Help manage multiple active projects and priorities simultaneously
• Respond to customer questions professionally and promptly
• Help ensure projects remain organized and move efficiently from sale through completion
• Provide additional sales and administrative support as needed Qualifications
• Approximately 3-5 years of flooring industry experience preferred
• Experience in multifamily, commercial, or high-volume residential flooring
• Working knowledge of flooring products, terminology, ordering, and project processes
• Experience supporting flooring sales, estimating, project coordination, customer service, or operations
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Professional and dependable
• Comfortable working independently while closely supporting a busy sales operation Preferred Experience Candidates who have worked for a multifamily flooring provider, commercial flooring contractor, flooring dealer, or high-volume residential flooring company will be particularly relevant.

Direct multifamily experience is preferred but is not required. Several years of meaningful flooring industry experience is the most important qualification. Compensation The salary range is $60,000

• 80,000 per year, depending on experience, flooring knowledge, and overall qualifications.

The position also offers a bonus opportunity based on performance. Location This is a full-time, in-person position. The company is preparing for a relocation to Rockville, Maryland. The successful candidate will initially report to the company's current location and transition to the new Rockville location once the move is completed.
