Sales Engineer

PROJECT ENGINEER

Commerce, California Direct Hire Aug 12, 2026 $125,000.00

Salary Range:

$125K - $155K Summary The Sales Engineer position is responsible to maintain and grow the revenue of their assigned territory by providing technical and sales support to existing customers and by identifying and helping to bring to order profitable new business opportunities. Position Duties Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to: Work with current and new customer's engineering and procurement departments to identify opportunities for growth. Work with customer's internal teams to help bring new opportunities to order and then provide additional customer liaison activities to help bring the products to the customer. Help set the revenue targets for their territory for existing business and for new business on an annual and ongoing basis. Act as the account executive for the major accounts within their territory. Must have good oral, written communications and have a high level of moral and ethical codes. The sales engineer is based out of Los Angeles to help communicate and coordinate important development programs between the customer and the internal team. This position will require a minimum of 50% travel.

Qualifications Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree (engineering strongly preferred). Ideally 5+ years of technical sales experience with demonstrated relationships with Tier 1 and 2 system integrators in the Aerospace and Defense Industry. A proven track record of revenue growth is extremely important. Some familiarity with aircraft clamps and connectors would be a plus.
