Overview Farrel is seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Sales Back-Office Engineer to support our commercial operations. This role serves as a critical link between Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and Operations—ensuring accurate quoting, smooth order processing, and successful execution of customer orders. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality proposals, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting complex sales transactions that drive business success. Key Responsibilities Quoting & Pre-Order Support Prepare technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with Sales and engineering teams Select and validate equipment solutions based on customer requirements Develop quotes using internal systems (e.g., Leegoo) Validate pricing, costs, and lead times Support custom quotes, special pricing, and deal structuring Order Management Process and validate customer orders in SAP and internal systems Ensure order accuracy (pricing, quantities, delivery dates, customer data) Generate order confirmations and maintain full documentation traceability Identify risks or exceptions and escalate for approvals as needed Execution & Coordination Coordinate with Project Management and Operations for order execution and delivery Liaise with Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, and Logistics teams Support contract compliance and ensure alignment with company policies Customer & Internal Support Respond to routine customer and sales inquiries related to orders Act as a point of escalation for order management issues Assist Finance with invoicing readiness and basic billing support Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred Experience in sales support, order management, or technical quoting Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and quoting tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Why Join Farrel?
