Boston, MA Job Details Full-time $90,000 - $100,000 a year 3 hours ago Benefits Disability insurance Relocation assistance Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Work from home Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Solution sales Customer communication Account development Business development Territory management CNC machining Technology sales Full Job Description Sales Engineer - Northeast Territory | CNC / Machine Tools A global leader in precision measurement, inspection, gauging, and process control technologies is seeking a Sales Engineer to support continued growth throughout the Northeast U.S. The company provides advanced solutions used within CNC and machine tool environments to improve manufacturing quality, efficiency, and process control. Its technologies support customers across industries including automotive, aerospace, industrial machinery, medical, electronics, and energy. The Opportunity The Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and growing business throughout the Northeast, working with machine tool manufacturers, distributors, and manufacturing customers.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop new business and expand existing customer relationships Sell CNC-related solutions including precision measurement, gauging, probing, and process monitoring systems Work directly with engineers, technical personnel, and manufacturing decision-makers Understand customer machining processes and identify opportunities for technical solutions Provide technical guidance regarding products, applications, and modifications Monitor market conditions, competition, and customer needs Support sales forecasting and territory development Ideal Background Strong CNC / machine tool experience is required Knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, automation, and manufacturing environments Previous technical sales experience within manufacturing is preferred CNC Applications Engineers or other customer-facing machine tool professionals interested in transitioning into technical sales will also be considered CNC programming, PLC, and schematic experience is preferred Strong technical problem-solving and customer-facing skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Comfortable with approximately 50-60% travel Location Northeast U.S.
Boston / New
England is preferred, although qualified candidates in New York or New Jersey will also be considered.
