This role blends technical engineering support with business development, working closely with clients to understand their needs and coordinating with internal engineering teams to deliver on projects. It is a great fit for someone with a strong mechanical or structural engineering background who wants to help build something from the ground up.

Sales Engineer Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients by understanding their technical needs
• Develop effective proposals based on client requirements
• Support business development activities such as trade shows, networking events, and client meetings
• Serve as a liaison between clients and internal engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Contribute to the establishment and growth of a new office as a founding team member
• Inspect and advise on project deliverables
• Prepare documentation such as client emails and reports
• Travel within the US for client visits and business trips, with occasional trips to

Japan Job Requirements Sales Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical or structural engineering roles
• At least 3 years of experience in project management or leadership
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and hands-on field experience
• Native English speaker required and bi-lingual in Japanese/English is a plus
