Corporation is seeking a Product Manager / Sales Engineer to support the growth and development of our medical device product lines. This position combines product management, downstream marketing, technical sales support, and customer development. The role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, customers, and distributor partners to support product growth, identify market opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and increase revenue. The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand medical device products, customer applications, competitive products, and market needs. Medical device industry experience is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Support product and downstream marketing strategies for assigned medical device product lines. Develop a strong understanding of product features, specifications, applications, customer needs, and competitive positioning. Develop product positioning, messaging, sales tools, presentations, product literature, and other marketing materials. Identify new markets, applications, customers, and business opportunities. Work closely with Sales and distributor partners to support revenue growth, market expansion, and customer adoption. Provide technical and commercial support to Sales, including product selection, configurations, pricing, quotations, and customer proposals. Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specifications, applications, configurations, and available product options. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key accounts. Support customer presentations, product demonstrations, sales meetings, trade shows, and distributor meetings. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, and Supply Chain. Analyze sales, market, customer, product, and competitive data to identify opportunities. Support product forecasting, pricing analysis, and commercial planning. Identify opportunities for increased product utilization, cross-selling, upselling, and expansion into new applications or accounts. Maintain current knowledge of assigned products, medical device technologies, markets, clinical applications, and competitive activity. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 2+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, downstream marketing, medical device sales support, technical marketing, or a related commercial role. Medical device industry experience strongly preferred. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate product specifications, applications, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Experience supporting Sales with product information, customer requirements, proposals, or technical solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills. Strong customer relationship and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability and willingness to travel as needed for customers, distributors, trade shows, sales meetings, and product demonstrations. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry. Bachelor's degree or coursework in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Communications, or a related field. Experience with downstream marketing, product positioning, messaging, or sales enablement. Experience with product configurations, pricing, quotations, customer proposals, or technical sales support.
