Here's how it works: our field specialists walk the property, meet the client and capture the vision. You take it from there. You build the estimate, lock down the scope with our field leads, walk the client through their options, and close the deal. You're the one who turns "we're thinking about it" into "when can you start?" We handle total property care, installations and full-scale renovations for homeowners, businesses and public agencies across the North Coast. This is a fast, phone-heavy role, and during peak season the pipeline fills up quickly. That's exactly why it's not for everyone, but if you love the win, you'll thrive here. What You'll Own Build sharp, accurate estimates from field notes, photos and measurements, with good, better and best options that make it easy for clients to say yes Check scope with our field specialists and crew leads so every number is rock solid Call every client to walk them through their estimate. No "send it and hope." Follow up with persistence and professionalism until every estimate gets a decision Hand off signed jobs to our crews with every detail they need to deliver Sell to residential, commercial and government clients across Humboldt, Del Norte, Trinity, Shasta and Mendocino counties, including bids When leads are light, roll up your sleeves: call past customers, revive old estimates and help power our marketing What It Takes to Sell for J&G Confidence on the phone: you can explain options, handle objections and ask for the decision A head for numbers: you can turn notes and measurements into accurate pricing Organized to the core: no lead, estimate or follow-up slips through the cracks Comfortable with computers: Microsoft 365 is second nature, and you pick up new software fast Always ask, never guess: our top performers know that clear communication is what keeps our clients raving about us Experience That Gets You Noticed We're looking for 2+ years in inside sales, estimating, or a customer-facing role, ideally in landscaping, construction or home services. Bonus points if you've got: Knowledge of landscaping, irrigation, plants or hardscape Experience selling to homeowners and property managers Commercial or government bid experience Roots on the North Coast and a feel for the communities we serve

Where Hard Work Pays Off Pay:

$16.90 - $20.00 per hour, plus a team bonus tied to company sales. When J&G wins, you win.

Schedule:

full time, Monday through Friday, in our Fortuna office
