Responsibilities Drive sales of instruments, accessories, rentals, and lessons to meet or exceed targets Provide knowledgeable, consultative service to students, parents, and educators Build and maintain relationships with local school music programs and directors Process rentals, repairs, and special orders accurately and efficiently Maintain merchandising, stock levels, and a clean, organized sales floor Support in-store events and outreach that promote music education and programs Use POS and CRM systems to complete transactions and track customer interactions Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person Collaborate with store and school service teams to meet regional goals Stay current on product features, promotions, and music education offerings Required Skills Customer service Retail sales Point-of-sale (POS) systems Product knowledge - musical instruments Merchandising Relationship building with schools/educators Upselling and cross-selling Basic CRM or customer tracking Cash handling and transaction processing Written and verbal communication
