Job Summary We are seeking a Residential Sales Consultant to help us serve a growing number of homeowner inquiries in western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut. You will receive qualified, company-generated leads and booked appointments from active marketing campaigns and customer referrals. No door knocking is required. You will meet with homeowners, understand what they want from solar and battery storage, explain their options, and guide them through a considered purchase. Solar experience is welcome but not required. Our current salespeople came from other backgrounds, and we will train you. Duties Meet with homeowners in person and, when appropriate, virtually to understand their energy goals, property, and budget. Work with our design team to present solar and battery solutions tailored to each home. Explain ownership, loan, and lease options clearly and accurately. Respond promptly to company-generated leads and manage follow-up through the decision process. Maintain accurate notes, activities, and next steps in Salesforce. Coordinate with our design and operations teams so customers have a clear understanding of their project. Build referrals by providing a strong customer experience before and after the sale. Stay current on our products, financing options, and the rules that affect customer proposals. Experience and Qualifications At least two years of successful sales experience. In-home sales, HVAC, windows, remodeling, home improvement, or other consultative sales experience is especially relevant. A record of managing leads, running effective consultations, and following up consistently. Strong listening and communication skills, with the ability to explain a significant purchase without pressure tactics. Comfort learning technical and financial details and discussing them accurately with customers. Experience using a CRM; Salesforce experience is helpful but not required. A valid driver's license and ability to travel to homeowner appointments across the territory. This is a field-based, hybrid position. You may work remotely between customer appointments and will attend an in-person team meeting at our Easthampton office approximately once a week. Some evening or weekend appointments may be needed to meet homeowners when they are available. A college degree and prior solar experience are not required.

Pay:

$130,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
