As an Entry-Level Sales Representative, you will work closely with company leadership and experienced team members to learn the business, develop product and industry knowledge, build customer relationships, and develop your own sales skills. About New Brook International New Brook International is a family-owned importer and distributor serving industrial and nutraceutical markets across USMCA. We represent a focused group of global manufacturers supplying pigments, mineral fillers, specialty chemicals, nutraceutical ingredients, and other functional ingredients. We operate as a nimble, relationship-driven organization where team members work directly with leadership and have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the sales and distribution process. What You'll Do Assist with identifying and developing new business opportunities. Conduct outbound prospecting through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels. Research prospective customers and identify potential applications for our products. Assist with maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers. Support senior sales team members with customer inquiries, quotations, samples, and follow-ups. Learn our product portfolio and develop an understanding of the industries and applications we serve. Maintain accurate customer and prospect information within our CRM. Assist with preparing quotations and other sales-related materials. Participate in customer meetings, supplier meetings, trade shows, and industry events. Take on increasing responsibility for customer accounts and sales opportunities as your knowledge and experience grow What Success Looks Like Consistently building and developing a healthy prospect pipeline. Becoming knowledgeable about New Brook's products, suppliers, and target markets. Developing strong communication and relationship-building skills. Following up consistently and professionally with prospects and customers. Turning qualified prospects into new customer relationships. Supporting the growth of existing accounts. Developing into a confident sales professional capable of managing customer relationships and opportunities independently. Who You Are Comfortable communicating with new people by phone, email, and in person. Naturally curious and willing to learn about products, industries, and customer applications. Persistent and comfortable with the prospecting process. Organized and capable of managing multiple follow-ups and priorities. Professional, personable, and confident in customer interactions. Self-motivated and willing to take initiative. Coachable and receptive to feedback. Interested in developing long-term customer relationships rather than simply making transactional sales. Comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial environment where responsibilities and opportunities can grow with experience. Qualifications 0-2 years of professional experience; sales, customer service, business development, or a related background is a plus but not required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Supply Chain, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field is preferred but not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and web-based systems. Ability and willingness to learn CRM software and sales tools. Ability to learn technical product information and communicate it clearly to customers. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel periodically.
