Join a well-established agricultural and light industrial equipment business located in Atlanta, New York, and headquartered in Vermont. As a full-time On Road Equipment Sales Representative, you will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with farmers, municipalities, and construction industry professionals. Representing the company and its brand in the field, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a diverse range of equipment while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, including farmers, municipalities, and construction professionals. Promote and sell agricultural, light construction, and related equipment by demonstrating products and explaining features and benefits. Identify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, attending trade shows, and following up on leads. Recommend and assist customers in selecting equipment that meets their needs and preferences. Provide accurate information on products, pricing, availability, and credit terms. Prepare and negotiate sales contracts, quotes, and order forms, ensuring all details are accurately documented. Coordinate equipment set-up and delivery with service departments to ensure customer satisfaction. Offer post-sale support, including training customers employees on equipment operation and maintenance as needed. Monitor market trends, competitor products, and pricing to stay informed and competitive. Maintain organized records of sales activities, budgets, expense reports, and daily call logs. Keep assigned company vehicle and work area clean and professional. Attend training sessions as required by vendors and the company.
