Job Description

Business Development Specialist Help More Children Access High Quality ABA Services Golden Care Therapy is seeking a relationship-driven Business Development Specialist to grow our referral network and help connect more children and families with high-quality ABA therapy. This role focuses on building meaningful professional partnerships, not simply community marketing. The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare business development, provider outreach, referral development, or a related field, with experience in ABA, autism services, behavioral health, pediatrics, or developmental services strongly preferred. What You'll Do Build and grow relationships with pediatricians, diagnostic providers, hospitals, therapists, schools, early intervention programs, and other organizations supporting children and families. Develop a strategic referral network within your assigned territory and identify new partnership opportunities. Conduct in-person and virtual meetings to educate partners about Golden Care's services, intake process, insurance participation, and referral pathways. Generate qualified referrals and maintain consistent follow-up with new and existing partners. Collaborate with Intake, Clinical, and Operations teams to identify referral barriers and improve families' access to care. Track referral sources, outreach activity, follow-ups, and opportunities within Golden Care's CRM. Monitor referral and conversion trends to identify high-performing relationships and growth opportunities. Represent Golden Care at targeted community events, conferences, resource fairs, and networking opportunities. Identify opportunities for parent education, clinical trainings, and collaborative community initiatives. What Success Looks Like Success will be measured through qualified referral growth, new and strengthened professional partnerships, referral-source engagement, conversion trends, consistent follow-up, and effective territory management. Qualifications Experience in healthcare business development, provider relations, referral development, or professional outreach Demonstrated ability to build relationships that generate referrals or measurable growth Strong communication, presentation, organization, and follow-through skills Ability to independently manage a territory and referral pipeline Comfortable using CRM and referral-tracking systems Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, where required
Preferred:
Experience in ABA, autism services, behavioral health, pediatrics, developmental services, or children's healthcare, along with an understanding of healthcare intake and insurance authorization processes.
