Overview The Inside Sales Representative at Cascadia Metals plays a vital role in delivering high-quality steel and metal products to our customers. This position is responsible for building customer relationships, managing accounts, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Be Doing Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers. Respond to customer inquiries, provide product information, and offer solutions to meet their needs. Collaborate with the Outside Sales team to support customer needs and sales efforts. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare and deliver price quotations. Make outbound sales calls daily, follow up on quotes, introduce products and promotions, and maintain customer relationships. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services. Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams regarding product availability, scheduling, and delivery. Maintain accurate customer records, order history, and communication logs. Provide product expertise and technical support to assist customers in selecting the right materials for their applications. Contribute to sales targets and revenue goals. Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities. Process and participate in intercompany (Interco) transactions to replenish branch inventory and support operational needs. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in sales, customer service, or a related field within the metal industry, manufacturing, or distribution preferred. High school diploma or GED preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and experience with CRM or ERP systems. Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, multitask, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle customer orders accurately and efficiently.
