JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Boxed Beef Sales Person to join our team. In this role, you will be the main link between our production facility and customers, ensuring meat products are sold at a competitive price. You will drive sales by engaging customers and highlighting product quality. Your sales experience, customer service skills, and knowledge of the beef industry will reinforce our commitment to excellence. With your enthusiasm and leadership will help us provide outstanding service and promote our premium meat products.

REPORTS TO

Sales Manager The following statements reflect the general duties, responsibilities and competencies considered necessary to perform the essential functions of the job and should not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements of this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work collaboratively with the sales team to develop new product offerings and promotional strategies. Build and maintain customer satisfaction with the company's products and services. Implement strategies to maximize profitability. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all company products and services. Work with production and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and optimize inventory and supply chain efficiency. Contact customers daily to secure orders based on the market-driven process. Engage with customers by phone and in person, demonstrating knowledge of beef primals and cuts.

REQUIREMENTS

Sales experience in the meat industry is preferred, but not required Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to engage diverse customers, including in bilingual settings as needed Supervisory experience is an asset for team leadership roles. A friendly demeanor, excellent phone etiquette, and strong interpersonal skills are required Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Demonstrate strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities Strong negotiation and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment Experience in negotiation in a professional manner

WORKING CONDITIONS

Fast paced office setting Business-casual office setting

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to sit in front of a computer or at a desk for greater than 8 hours per day. Ability to bend and stoop as needed. Speak clearly to other office personnel, management, employees and outside personnel. Maintain personal office area; i.e., keeping desk clean, papers organized, etc. Noise level in the office environment in quiet to moderate.
