Job Description
Business Development & Truck Equipment Sales Representative East Penn Truck Equipment is a leading commercial truck body manufacturer and upfitter specializing in the towing and recovery industry, municipal fleets, contractors, utility companies, and commercial truck equipment solutions. With locations in Bethlehem, PA and Mercer, PA, we have built a reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and relationship-driven Business Development & Truck Equipment Sales Representative to help expand our market presence and drive continued growth throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and surrounding territories. This position is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, developing new business opportunities, and helping customers find solutions that improve their operations. What You'll Do Develop and execute territory growth strategies to increase market share and brand awareness Prospect and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events Build long-term relationships with towing companies, municipalities, contractors, utility fleets, and commercial truck operators Promote and sell commercial truck bodies, towing and recovery equipment, and related truck upfitting solutions promote tool and accessory sales on site Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities for additional business Conduct customer visits, , and sales presentations work Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences and successful project execution Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions Represent East Penn Truck Equipment as an industry leader and trusted partner in the marketplace QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or GED Valid Driver's License Pennsylvania Salesperson License or ability to obtain upon hire Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills lent organizational, time management, and follow-up abilities Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently Preferred Experience in business development, outside sales, account management, or territory sales Medium- or heavy-duty truck industry experience Commercial truck equipment, towing/recovery, fleet, municipal, construction, or transportation industry experience College or university education Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain within six months of hire What We Offer Competitive base salary plus commission and performance incentives Comprehensive benefits package Company-supported training and professional development Established territory with significant growth potential Opportunity to represent an industry-leading company with a strong reputation and loyal customer base Career advancement opportunities within a growing organization If you are passionate about business development, enjoy building customer relationships, and want to be part of a company that is driving growth in the commercial truck equipment industry, we encourage you to apply.
