Full-time About Latini Ag Latini Ag sells Pioneer® brand seed and agricultural chemicals to growers in northeast South Dakota. We work directly with our customers to help them get the most out of every acre. We believe in an active partnership with our growers, looking at everything from the grower's point of view, and honest answers and promises kept. Position Summary Latini Ag is looking for a sales representative to sell Pioneer® brand seed and chemical and build strong relationships with growers. This person gets to know customers and their fields, helps them choose the right products, and works closely with the office to make sure orders are right. Knowledge of agricultural chemicals is important for this role. Pioneer Sales Duties Sell Pioneer® brand corn, soybeans, corn silage, sorghum, and inoculants to new and existing growers Help growers pick the right hybrids and varieties for their fields Help growers build field plans using local experience and Pioneer on-farm data Explain and sign up customers for Pioneer programs, such as the TruChoice® offer Coordinate seed delivery, seed treatment, and seed tender needs with the office Work toward Pioneer sales goals Attend Pioneer training and meetings Help with plots, yield data, and grower meetings Chemical Sales Duties Sell chemical to new and existing growers Recommend chemical programs that fit each grower's operation Coordinate chemical delivery and bulk tender needs with the office Maintain good working relationships with chemical suppliers General Duties Follow up with customers before, during, and after the season Pass customer orders and pricing to the office accurately and on time Qualifications Knowledge of agricultural chemicals and how they are used Seed or chemical sales or ag retail experience preferred Able to build trust with growers and keep promises Organized and follows through Able to work longer hours during planting and harvest Valid driver's license Pay and Benefits Base pay plus commission, depending on experience Health insurance Company vehicle
