Duties Greet customers professionally and identify their needs, preferences, and budget through engaging conversations. Present and demonstrate new and pre-owned vehicles, highlighting features, benefits, and available options. Conduct vehicle walkarounds and test drives to help customers make informed purchasing decisions. Build and maintain customer relationships through consistent follow-up by phone, text, and email. Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, repeat customers, and internet leads. Work closely with sales management to negotiate deals, overcome objections, and close sales. Maintain knowledge of inventory, vehicle features, pricing, incentives, and current promotions. Maintain accurate customer information and follow dealership sales processes. Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the entire buying experience. Meet or exceed individual sales goals while contributing to the success of the dealership team. Experience Previous automotive sales experience is preferred but not required. Retail sales, customer service, hospitality, or other sales experience is a plus. Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to achieve results. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Comfortable using phones, computers, texting, email, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
