This position is commission only, with no hourly pay or base salary . Earnings are based on sales performance and the agreed commission structure. About the Opportunity OT Bay Builders is looking for a motivated, experienced sales professional to join our home remodeling and construction sales team. We provide high-quality leads from homeowners interested in remodeling their homes. You will meet with prospective clients at their properties, understand their goals, present our services, prepare proposals with our team, and turn qualified opportunities into signed projects. Previous experience in car sales, solar sales, construction sales, or home improvement sales is required. Direct experience selling home remodeling projects is a plus. We provide one-on-one training to help you learn our services, remodeling process, proposal preparation, and sales approach. We're looking for someone who builds trust, communicates clearly, follows up consistently, and helps homeowners feel confident about their remodeling decisions. Responsibilities Attend scheduled in-home consultations with company-provided leads throughout your assigned service area. Understand each homeowner's remodeling goals, priorities, budget, and desired timeline. Present our services for kitchen and bathroom remodels, whole-home renovations, additions, and other residential improvements. Document existing conditions and collect measurements, photos, and project details as needed. Coordinate with our estimating, design, and production teams to develop accurate proposals. Present estimates and clearly explain the scope of work, material allowances, exclusions, and payment milestones. Answer questions, address objections, and guide homeowners through the sales process. Follow up promptly and consistently with prospective clients. Close sales within company-approved pricing and terms and complete required documents accurately. Keep appointments, proposals, follow-ups, and sales activity updated in the company's system. Provide a thorough handoff to the production team, including the agreed scope and client expectations. Attend sales meetings and work toward established sales goals. Represent OT Bay Builders professionally and ensure commitments align with the approved scope and company capabilities. Required Qualifications Previous experience in car sales, solar sales, construction sales, or home improvement sales. A demonstrated ability to build client relationships, handle objections, and close sales. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills. Confidence discussing budgets and explaining proposals. Excellent organization and the ability to manage multiple sales opportunities. A professional, dependable approach to appointments and client communication. Comfort using CRM software, email, and digital proposal tools. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for in-home appointments. Availability for appointments that accommodate homeowners' schedules.
