We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Farmers Market Sales & Booth Associate to represent our brand at local farmers markets. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for someone who enjoys meeting new people, is confident in their ability to sell, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and beautifully presented market booth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Customer Engagement Proactively greet market visitors and engage them in friendly conversations. Introduce customers to Hill House Dessert's products and share product information. Confidently recommend products and encourage purchases. Build customer relationships and create a positive, memorable shopping experience. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Booth Setup & Operations Use your own SUV to transport desserts, supplies, and booth equipment to and from farmers markets. Safely load, unload, and secure products and equipment during transportation. Set up the market booth, including tables, displays, signage, and products. Arrange products in an attractive and organized manner that reflects the Hill House Dessert brand. Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-stocked booth throughout the market. Monitor inventory and communicate product needs or shortages. Break down the booth, pack equipment securely, and ensure all materials are accounted for after each market. Brand Representation Represent Hill House Dessert with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm. Share information about our products and brand with potential customers. Help generate interest in Hill House Dessert and encourage customers to return. Gather customer feedback and communicate useful insights to the team. Qualifications Previous experience in retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service is preferred. Outgoing, personable, and comfortable initiating conversations with new people. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to confidently recommend products and encourage purchases. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Organized, detail-oriented, and attentive to product presentation. Must have access to a reliable SUV with sufficient cargo space to transport booth equipment, tables, displays, and products. Must have a valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance. Comfortable with physical tasks, including loading, unloading, setting up, and breaking down booth equipment. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Availability to work weekends and early mornings, depending on market schedules. What We're Looking For Someone who does more than simply stand behind the booth and wait for customers. Our ideal candidate enjoys connecting with people, naturally starts conversations, and knows how to turn a customer's curiosity into a purchase. You should be comfortable taking ownership of the booth, maintaining a beautiful presentation, and representing Hill House Dessert with care and enthusiasm. Schedule Part-time position with shifts based on farmers market schedules. Weekend and early morning availability required.
