Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our team. As a Stocking Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the shelves are properly stocked and organized in our grocery store. This is a vital role in maintaining an efficient and pleasant shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

Receive and unpack merchandise shipments
Inspect items for damage or defects
Stock shelves with products, ensuring proper organization and presentation
Rotate products to maintain freshness and minimize waste
Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to management
Assist customers in locating products and provide friendly customer service
Operate cash register as needed
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store, including aisles, shelves, and storage areas

Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 40 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
