Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our team. As a Stocking Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the shelves are properly stocked and organized in our grocery store. This is a vital role in maintaining an efficient and pleasant shopping experience for our customers.Responsibilities:
- Receive and unpack merchandise shipments
- Inspect items for damage or defects
- Stock shelves with products, ensuring proper organization and presentation
- Rotate products to maintain freshness and minimize waste
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to management
- Assist customers in locating products and provide friendly customer service
- Operate cash register as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store, including aisles, shelves, and storage areas
Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 40 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
