• Green Garden Products, a subsidiary of Central Garden & Pet, the number one supplier of top-quality flower seeds and non-GMO vegetable seeds for the gardening industry, is now seeking a Pack-Out Lead for the Norton, MA facility.

This is a full-time position. Central Garden & Pet Company (

Please see our website at www.central.com for additional company information. The Pack-Out Lead will work with the Plant Manager to meet production schedules. This position pays a range of $18 to $19 per hour, based on experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Train, Coach and Develop Pack-Out Team.
• Confirm that the production lines are supplied with Raw-Materials to meet production needs.
• Able to measure production and give feedback to the team.
• Available to fill in as needed for breaks, absences, assistance.
• Clean and maintain safe work area.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely.
• Other Duties as required.
• Job Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Previous production/packing experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with all levels within the facility
• Ability to manage priorities and adapt to changes in workflow
• Strong team player

• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, and clean.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work is conducted in a warehouse environment with temperature changes depending on the season.
