Job Description:

The Bulk Stocker Lead is responsible for establishing and maintaining guest services. Additionally, assists in unloading delivery trucks and compares received products to packing lists to ensure that deliveries are complete. Assists management in ordering dog food. Gives direction to Bulk Stockers to maintain department standards.

Essential Functions:

Ensures that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest and by maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest services. 2. Implements and maintains guest service standards. 3. Maintains standard of dog food condition and rotation and presentation of product. 4. Maintains merchandising standards, display presentations, signing standards; monitors inventory level in dog food, cat food, litter, and bulk areas. 5. Ensures proper completion through follow-up. Assists in monitoring sales performance through the analysis of sales reports and comparison shopping. 6. Maintains adherence to all company policies and procedures. 7. Stock shelves, counters or tables with merchandise. 8. Use ladder to fill in stock from "top stock". 9. Check dates and rotate any item with expiration date, positioning due-to-expire items up front or on top shelves. 10. Set up displays on endcaps. 11. Ensure correct pricing on product, particularly dog food. 12. Upon 90 days of hire date, be able to successfully complete forklift certification training to safely operate vehicle. 13. Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor. When needed, conducts the following: 14. Receives products from vendor deliveries and unloads trucks at the loading docks. 15. Compares packing lists to company purchase orders and ensures that the products in each delivery match the packing list. 16.
