Duties Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions with precision and efficiency using POS systems. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and guiding them through product selections. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities. Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the store remains inviting, clean, and well-stocked at all times. Maintain proper cash drawer handling procedures, including cash handling and balancing registers at shift end. Assist with merchandising efforts to highlight promotional displays and new products effectively. Support inventory management by stocking incoming shipments and conducting regular stock checks to prevent shortages or overstocking. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus. Basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations, cash register operations, and cash handling accuracy. Familiarity with POS systems and retail sales transactions enhances efficiency on the sales floor. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with phone etiquette and friendly demeanor.
