Duties Stock shelves efficiently using manual handling techniques, ensuring products are organized, clean, and appealing to customers. Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely to load, unload, and move inventory throughout the store and warehouse areas. Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory levels, update stock records, and manage product locations within the store. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by loading and unloading shipments, verifying deliveries against purchase orders, and maintaining accurate inventory control. Maintain cleanliness of the store environment by performing routine cleaning duties including merchandising displays, produce areas, and general store upkeep. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products, offering recommendations on produce or retail items, and supporting sales initiatives. Support inventory management efforts through regular stock checks, organizing backstock areas, and participating in cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy. Skills Proficiency with RF scanners for inventory tracking and product management. Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks with a focus on safety practices. Strong organizational skills for stocking, merchandising, and maintaining orderly storage areas. Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual skills are a plus! Knowledge of retail store operations including cashiering, customer service, packaging, and merchandising. Familiarity with manual handling techniques for heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices. Basic math skills for counting stock quantities, processing transactions, and managing inventory records.
