Job Description

Position Summary AEB USA is seeking a passionate and commercially driven brewing professional to join our growing Brewing Division. This position combines technical sales, brewery consulting, business development, and territory management, providing the opportunity to work directly with breweries, distributors, and industry partners throughout an assigned territory while helping shape the future direction of AEB's brewing business in North America. This is more than a traditional sales role. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving annual sales and margin objectives, developing new business, expanding existing customer relationships, and managing opportunities from initial technical discussions and product trials through quotation, negotiation, and closing. The position offers significant autonomy to identify market opportunities, develop territory sales strategies, introduce new technologies, and contribute to the continued growth of the Brewing Division. As the division expands, this role may also provide opportunities to assume increasing leadership responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow an assigned brewery sales territory with responsibility for achieving annual sales and margin objectives. Actively prospect for new brewery customers while expanding sales and developing opportunities within existing accounts. Build strong, long-term relationships with craft and industrial breweries, distributors, industry partners, and other key stakeholders. Manage the complete sales process, from initial customer engagement and technical discussion through product trials, quotations, negotiations, and closing the business. Maintain an active and well-qualified sales pipeline, document customer activity, and provide regular sales forecasts, territory updates, and market feedback. Provide technical brewing support, conduct product trials, troubleshoot applications, and assist customers with process improvements and product optimization. Develop strong technical knowledge of AEB's brewing portfolio, including brewing ingredients, processing aids, filtration solutions, and other technologies, and confidently recommend the most appropriate solutions for each customer's process and objectives. Work closely with distributors to develop AEB's business within their territories, including supporting distributor sales teams, conducting joint customer visits, providing technical and product training, and helping identify and develop new sales opportunities. Monitor competitive products, market pricing, industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies, and communicate relevant market intelligence to AEB leadership and internal teams. Represent AEB at brewery guild meetings, trade shows, conferences, educational programs, distributor meetings, customer events, and other industry activities. Qualifications Professional brewing, technical sales, or brewery-supplier industry experience strongly preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience is preferred. Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships, identify commercial opportunities, and contribute to sales growth. Experience working with brewing ingredients, processing aids, filtration technologies, fermentation products, or other brewery process solutions is highly desirable. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand brewery processes, evaluate customer needs, and recommend practical technical solutions. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Comfortable prospecting for new business and managing opportunities through the full sales cycle. Ability to work independently, manage a territory effectively, and prioritize multiple customer and commercial opportunities while contributing to a collaborative global team. Experience working with distributors or channel partners is preferred. Proficiency with CRM systems, sales pipeline management, forecasting, and customer activity reporting is preferred. Passion for the brewing industry, technical problem-solving, and customer service. Valid driver's license and ability to travel by car and air as required. Location, Travel and Industry Participation This is a remote-office position with approximately 40% travel throughout the assigned territory. Travel will include regular visits to breweries, distributors, prospects, and industry partners, as well as participation in trade shows, conferences, and other industry activities. The candidate must be comfortable working independently from a remote office while maintaining regular communication and collaboration with AEB USA. The position requires the ability and willingness to travel by car and air as business needs require. The candidate should also be comfortable with occasional evening and weekend commitments associated with trade shows, brewery guild meetings, conferences, distributor meetings, customer events, educational programs, and other brewing-industry activities. Physical and Work Environment Requirements The position involves regular visits to breweries, production facilities, warehouses, trade shows, and other industry environments. The candidate should be comfortable working in brewery and production settings and standing or walking for extended periods during customer visits, product trials, trade shows, and industry events. The role may occasionally require handling or transporting product samples, demonstration materials, and trade-show materials Proposed Compensation & Benefits Package Base Salary $75,000 -85,000 annually Performance Bonus Eligible for an annual performance-based bonus of approximately $10,000, based on achievement of agreed-upon sales, margin, and business objectives.
