Technical Support Engineer responsible for diagnosing complex product issues, supporting field problem resolution, and developing technical solutions for diesel and battery-electric vehicle systems. Job Requirements Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering Technology, Diesel Power Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Technology Management, or a related technical field. Equivalent combination of technical education and relevant work experience may be considered. Experience diagnosing diesel engine systems. Experience with electrical diagnostic systems. Knowledge of diesel aftertreatment systems. Knowledge of battery electric vehicle systems. Experience using proprietary diagnostic tools and applications. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams. Ability to travel approximately 10-20% to field locations within the United States and Canada. Preferred Skills Experience troubleshooting complex product or equipment issues. Experience analyzing diagnostic data from multiple sources. Experience supporting new product introduction or production-intent updates. Experience developing technical bulletins, service solutions, or troubleshooting documentation. Experience supporting heavy equipment, off-highway equipment, commercial vehicles, or related systems. Experience with experimental or pre-production components. Experience working with field service teams or dealer/channel partner networks. Job Responsibilities Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex product problems using diagnostic tools, technical documentation, and system data. Diagnose diesel engine, electrical, aftertreatment, and battery-electric vehicle system issues. Analyze data from multiple sources to identify root causes of technical problems. Support resolution of technical issues on new products. Develop technical bulletins and documented solutions for recurring complex problems. Gather and coordinate required parts for production-intent updates. Travel to field locations to troubleshoot equipment and install experimental or production-intent components. Follow established problem resolution processes for technical support activities. Provide technical guidance to field teams, channel partners, and support organizations. Support product updates and corrective actions based on field findings. Maintain documentation related to troubleshooting activities, technical resolutions, and product issues.
