We are seeking a dedicated Research Associate Scientific III to join an innovative Advanced Surgery R&D team. In this role, you will perform laboratory research, design experiments, and drive the scale-up of biomaterials to support next-generation medical device development.

Deerfield, Illinois job type: Contract salary: $45.00 - 50.68 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Conduct routine and non-routine research experiments, ing sound technical judgment to solve complex design problems. Scale up biomaterials by transferring lab-scale processes and experiments directly into manufacturing production. Analyze, interpret, and validate experimental data regarding pH, chemical reactions, and temperature-controlled reactions. Monitor budgets, schedules, and shipments for external laboratory testing activities. Maintain strict compliance with QSR, GxP, and safety regulations throughout all research and reporting activities.
qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 3-6 years of lab experience, or a Master's degree with 1-2 years of lab experience. Hands-on research experience within a regulated GMP/QSR environment. Strong background in method development, validation, and independent experimental design. Excellent technical writing, computer, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
Preferred:
Direct experience with lyophilization (freeze-drying) processes. Hands-on background with Class 2, 510(k), or PMA FDA-approved medical devices. Proven medical device product development experience. #LI-AN skills: Biology, Chemistry, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
