About the Role The Technical Delivery Engineer (Contractor Role) is responsible for supporting the successful implementation of technical solutions within client projects at an IT Professional Services Firm. This role involves working closely with project teams to deliver high-quality technical services, ensuring client requirements are met effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, great communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs.
What You'll Do Project Support:
Execute assigned technical tasks in support of project delivery, ensuring alignment with project scope, standards, and timelines Collaborate with team members, including Technical leads, engineers, project managers, consultants, client teams, and 3rd party vendors to contribute to project workflows and deliverables. Adhere to Artisight/TMG delivery standards, processes, and client site requirements while executing assigned tasks Participate in Artisight/TMG-led, project-specific delivery training prior to on-site deployment to ensure alignment with scope, standards, documentation, and execution expectations
Technical Implementation:
Execute assigned technical deployment tasks in accordance with project scope, technical requirements, and Artisight/TMG standards Perform installation, configuration, and testing of systems, applications, or integrations as required by the assigned project scope Follow established deployment procedures, technology-specific guidelines, and methods of procedure (MOPs) during execution of assigned tasks Identify and report technical issues, risks, or inconsistencies to TMG leads for resolution Provide guidance and support to other contractors on-site as directed by the Technical Delivery Engineering Lead, ensuring work is performed in alignment with established standards and procedures
Client Engagement:
Communicate professionally with client representatives as needed to support assigned technical tasks and on-site activities Provide updates to Artisight/TMG leads on task progress, issues, or risks, and communicate with client representatives as directed Assist in troubleshooting technical issues within assigned scope and escalate complex issues to TMG leads for resolution
Documentation:
Document completed work, configurations, and activities as required to support project tracking and knowledge transfer
Training and Support:
Support training activities for client teams as directed by Artisight/TMG leads Assist in the development or update of user documentation and training materials as directed
Quality Assurance:
Execute assigned tasks in alignment with established quality standards and participate in testing and validation activities as required Complete required installation, testing, validation, and quality assurance checklists, ensuring all assigned work meets project acceptance criteria before turnover. Identify, document, and report quality issues, discrepancies, or deviations from standards to the Technical Delivery Lead.
Continuous Learning:
Participate in required training and knowledge-sharing activities to support effective project execution What You Have Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience; relevant certifications are an advantage. 2+ years of experience in a technical delivery, implementation, or consulting role, preferably within the IT services or consulting environment. Familiarity with network infrastructure, end user technology (EUT), hardware lifecycle processes, and basic project delivery methodologies Strong technical skills with the ability to learn new technologies quickly. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with clients and team members. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or flexible work environment.
