On behalf of our sponsors, Group 93 is accelerating the delivery of critical capabilities to ensure our continued freedom of action in space. Job Description Group 93 is seeking a uniquely skilled individual to join our team as a member of the Associate Technical Staff. In this role, you will leverage your technical proficiency to help architect and execute the group's technical initiatives. You will design and build achievable technical solutions and demonstrate their effectiveness through experiments, exercises, briefings, and test events. This role may involve direct and individual technical contributions, establishing strong connections between the group and military users, or leading a team of researchers to build the solution. The most effective associate staff may perform all these tasks to some degree, even when prioritizing one function.

Requirements:

Masters or equivalent in Physics, Mathematics or Applied Mathematics. In lieu of Masters, a Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience will be considered

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technical areas and apply that knowledge effectively to solve challenging mission problems

Demonstrated ability to clearly present technical concepts to a wide spectrum of audiences

Proficient at using high level programming languages (Python, Java, etc.) to solve complex scientific or engineering modeling or data analysis problems

Demonstrated ability to independently understand substantial technical problems and develop a working solution

Experience in technical work in large or medium sized teams

Intellectual curiosity and desire to lead exploration into new technical areas in support of the group's mission

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated work in a technical area related to the Group's mission, such as, signal processing, dynamical modeling, high volume data analytics

Knowledge of optical, radar or passive RF sensors

Understanding of orbital astrodynamics

Mentoring junior or less experience staff members

Recent Graduate Hiring Range:

$116,400-$140,000

Experienced Hiring Range:

$116,400-$182,200
