We service a niche clientele for emerging food brands. This role will split duties between back-of-house operational documentation (80%) and direct to client/sampling coordination (20%). You will help build the foundation of the company's growth by developing SOPs, organizing technical food testing compliance records, and executing product sampling workflows.

This position operates in a highly confidential environment involving proprietary formulation data and requires an NDA on file.

Breakdown of Key Responsibilities:

Prototyping & Sampling:

Manage the full cycle of physical sample creation. (The founder will train you directly on prototyping workflows). Coordinate various incoming sample and prototype requests from emerging brand clients, managing handoff and tracking progress with our floor operations team and founder.

Processes & Documentation:

Map out, write, and audit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Keep food testing and compliance logs organized.

Technical & Compliance Administration:

Organize, digitize, and maintain food testing data, specification sheets, and regulatory compliance documents.

Client Interaction:

Serve as a professional front-facing administrative contact for brand accounts and the team when the founder is traveling.

Development Tracking:

Oversee new account pipeline timelines and work to evaluate/implement our upcoming CRM system.

Qualifications Preferred:

Background in Service, Food Science, or a regulated environment (e.g., laboratory, food quality assurance, catering, culinary arts ).

Plus:

Practical experience in general business operations or process management.

Tech Skills:

Mastery of Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets). Experience or strong interest in selecting and implementing a CRM system.
