The Technical Sales Specialist is responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and promoting TEXA diagnostic products and services. The ideal candidate combines strong sales skills with a passion for the automotive, trucking, or equipment repair industries. This role requires regular travel within the assigned territory to meet with customers, conduct product demonstrations, attend industry events, and support dealership and distributor relationships. Responsibilities Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the assigned distribution channel. Build and maintain strong relationships with repair shops, dealerships, fleets, distributors, and other industry customers. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations showcasing TEXA diagnostic equipment and software solutions. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Follow up on sales leads generated through marketing efforts, trade shows, and customer referrals. Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records within the CRM system. Provide customers with product knowledge, pricing information, and application support. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and timely issue resolution. Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings as required. Monitor market trends, competitive products, and customer needs. Qualifications Preferred Experience selling diagnostic equipment, automotive tools, shop equipment, software solutions, and technical products. Knowledge of automotive, commercial vehicles, agricultural, construction, or marine repair industries. Experience working with dealerships, fleets, or independent repair facilities. Key Competencies Bachelor's degree or 2 years degree or equivalent sales experience. Prospecting and lead generation Solutions selling Negotiation and closing skills Presentation and demonstration skills Customer relationship Management Time management and organization 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in automotive, heavy-duty truck, equipment, industrial, or technology-related industries. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage customer relationships. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly within USA and Canada.
