This role is focused on outbound calling, connecting with prospective customers, identifying interest in insurance options, and transferring qualified prospects to a licensed team member. Responsibilities Make outbound calls to prospective customers using agency-provided leads Introduce the agency and briefly explain the reason for the call Ask basic qualifying questions and identify customer interest Warm transfer interested prospects to a licensed sales representative Follow agency-approved call scripts and compliance guidelines Accurately document call outcomes and customer information in our lead management system Follow up with prospects as directed Meet daily and weekly expectations for calls, conversations, and qualified transfers Maintain a friendly, professional, and respectful approach on every call Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls Confident, energetic, and professional over the phone Able to handle objections and rejection while maintaining a positive attitude Organized and comfortable working with basic computer and CRM systems Reliable and goal-oriented Previous telemarketing, customer service, appointment-setting, or sales experience is preferred but not required Fluency in Hindi, Gujarati, or other Indian languages is preferred, but not required Compensation Starting pay is at the applicable minimum wage, with opportunities for additional performance-based compensation. Important This is a telemarketing and lead-generation position, not a licensed insurance sales position. The primary goal is to start conversations, identify interested prospects, and connect them with a licensed insurance professional. Telemarketers are not responsible for reviewing coverage, providing insurance advice, or completing insurance sales.
