Respond with Compassionate Action We are seeking a Regional Manager for East and Southern Africa, to join our International Projects team in Boone, NC . Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the role of Regional Manager for East and Southern Africa , you will have the opportunity to: Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ Partners with the Regional Director to shape and communicate a Christ-centered vision, guiding program strategy and ensuring all regional initiatives advance Samaritan's Purse's mission of compassionate service. Leads grant and partnership management, guaranteeing that every award, internally funded project, and donor commitment complies with program guidelines, is accurately reported, and delivers measurable impact. Coordinates all International Field Staff (IFS) HR functions recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and performance reviews in partnership with HQ HR, fostering a capable, prayer-filled team. Oversees procurement, monitoring, evaluation, and communications for partner projects, producing regular status reports, success stories, and website updates that showcase God-glorifying results. Provides surge capacity by stepping into the Regional Director's duties when needed and lives out the organization's calling by modeling servant-leadership and a heartfelt commitment to the people we serve. Other duties as assigned What are the qualifications? Serve with Excellence As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience: Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university and three (3) to five (5) years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies strongly preferred. General knowledge of international affairs, foreign policy, and fundamental political frameworks within each country of oversight General knowledge of socioeconomic, cultural, religious, and political conditions in assigned region(s) High degree of diplomacy and cultural sensitivity General knowledge of and ability to work in partnership with USAID and other governmental and non-governmental organizations Intermediate to fluent foreign language skills preferred What are the benefits?
