IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Chemistry Analyst
Rotating Shift position at its facility in Fresno, CA. Ideal candidates will possess the following:
A BS or BA in the Chemistry or related field (required)
Proficiency with data entry and computer applications
Experience with analytical chemistry instrumentation (e.g, HPLC)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory Chemist duties include analysis of food samples for proximates and/or chemical contaminants, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, and other duties as assigned.
The pay rate for this position is $22.00 hourly. This is a full-time position and is eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long
and short-term disability insurance, health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 6 paid holidays per year, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 401(k) (with up to 3% employer match after eligibility criteria are met).
The schedule for this position is on a rotating shift basis: the first shift is Monday-Friday, from 2:00pm
10:30pm; the second shift is Tuesday-Saturday, from 8:00am
4:30pm.
