Technical Assistant - Chemistry (PT)

The College is looking for exceptional colleagues to join the MVCC community. We are currently seeking a Technical Assistant in our School of STEM-Transfer. The Technical Assistant provides skilled assistance to faculty, professional, or administrative staff in Chemistry. The work is performed under general supervision. Key responsibilities for this position includes: Assists the faculty by ensuring adherence to proper safety protocols; Maintains material inventories; Cleans and organizes laboratory spaces; Prepares solutions using proper laboratory techniques; Prepares materials for student learning experiences; Other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:

 The hours for this position will be dependent on the needs of the department and the availability of the successful candidate.

Hours per week:

up to 20

Qualifications:

Associate's degree or 60 credit hours completed Experience preparing quantitative chemical solutions
