Job Type:
 Part-Time, 12-Month Mohawk Valley Community College provides accessible, high-quality educational opportunities to meet the diverse needs of our students. We are the community's college, committed to student success through partnerships, transfer and career pathways, and personal enrichment. The College is looking for exceptional colleagues to join the MVCC community. We are currently seeking a Technical Assistant in our School of STEM-Transfer. The Technical Assistant provides skilled assistance to faculty, professional, or administrative staff in Chemistry. The work is performed under general supervision. Key responsibilities for this position includes: Assists the faculty by ensuring adherence to proper safety protocols; Maintains material inventories; Cleans and organizes laboratory spaces; Prepares solutions using proper laboratory techniques; Prepares materials for student learning experiences; Other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:
 The hours for this position will be dependent on the needs of the department and the availability of the successful candidate.
Hours per week:
up to 20
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or 60 credit hours completed Experience preparing quantitative chemical solutions
