Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Formulation Chemist to join our innovative research and development team. In this role, you will lead the development of new formulations, optimize existing products, and contribute to scientific research initiatives that enhance our product offerings. Your expertise in biochemical research, data analysis, and experimental design will be vital in advancing our formulation capabilities. Duties Design and develop new formulations for consumer products, ensuring they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements Conduct laboratory experiments involving biochemical techniques, tissue culture, assays, and other laboratory techniques to evaluate formulation performance Analyze complex data sets using statistical software such as R, Python, MATLAB, and bioinformatics data analysis tools to interpret results accurately Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize formulation processes and troubleshoot technical issues during development phases Prepare detailed scientific reports, research papers for peer-reviewed journals, and presentations for scientific and medical audiences Lead research projects by establishing experimental protocols, overseeing data collection, and ensuring compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) Stay current with advancements in biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, and computational research to incorporate innovative techniques into formulation development Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field; PhD preferred Proven experience in biochemical research, formulation development or related laboratory setting Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques including cell culture, Western blotting, microscopy, assays, tissue culture, and molecular biology methods Proficiency in data analysis software such as R, Python, MATLAB; experience with machine learning/AI-based analysis is a plus Excellent skills in experimental design, statistical analysis for research projects, data interpretation and scientific publication writing Experience with clinical research or clinical trials is advantageous Ability to lead research projects technically while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams Join us to be part of a forward-thinking organization where your scientific expertise will drive innovation!
