Hall County, GA Responsibilities:

Oversee daily compounding, batching, blending, pre-weigh, and material handling activities to meet production schedules and quality requirements. Lead, schedule, train, and develop production personnel while ensuring appropriate staffing and consistent execution of procedures. Ensure compliance with GMP/cGMP, SOPs, FDA requirements, customer specifications, and internal quality standards. Maintain accurate production and manufacturing documentation. Partner with Quality Assurance to investigate deviations, batching issues, and production errors and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions. Lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations for complex manufacturing issues in collaboration with Quality, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams. Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, workflows, productivity, and production capabilities. Support the development and implementation of new compounding processes and manufacturing methods. Promote a safe, clean, and compliant work environment, including proper handling of hazardous materials and waste. Monitor equipment, raw materials, and safety supplies to support uninterrupted production. Support audit readiness and ensure corrective actions are completed and sustained. Manage timekeeping, overtime approvals, and daily departmental priorities as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred. 4+ years of leadership experience in a cosmetic, personal care, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing environment. Strong hands-on experience in compounding, batching, or mixing operations. Proven track record of improving production processes, reducing errors, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Experience working in a regulated environment with strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, SOP, and OSHA requirements. Experience managing teams, including scheduling, training, and performance management across production shifts. We strongly encourage candidates who have some of the skills to apply.
