This role involves execution of complex synthetic organic chemistry at 100 g to 10 kg scale under cGMP or in a Preclinical regulatory environment. The successful candidate will have demonstrated basic knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry and cGMP regulations and the ability to execute synthesis from a batch record or written procedure under the supervision of a Senior Chemist. Strong mechanical aptitude and documentation skills are required. Analytical experience is a plus. Duties Execute kilo scale synthesis according to a batch record or procedure. Follow Good Documentation Practices. Participate in Quality Investigations, Corrective Actions, Change Controls, and Audits. Conduct In Process Control testing under cGMP. Set up, clean, and operate production equipment. Assist Senior Chemists with small scale and R D procedures. Conduct DoEs for process optimization. Document R D procedures in a laboratory notebook. Adhere to all SOPs and cGMP Regulations. Adhere to all EHS and Process Safety Policies. Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or equivalent degree. 3- 7 years of experience in kilo scale chemical production, at least 3 of which are in a cGMP environment. Familiarity with common analytical techniques such as HPLC, NMR, and IR. Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail in both cGMP and R D recordkeeping. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment. Proactive learner motivated to succeed in a dynamic environment.
