R&D Lab Technician (Chemistry/ Biology/ Microbiology/ Personal Care)
Job Type:
3 Months Contract with possibilities of extension
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 1st
Shift Pay Range:
$22/hr - $24/hr
Location:
Reynoldsburg, OH We are seeking R&D Lab Technician, support routine laboratory activities related to the testing and evaluation of beauty and home fragrance products. This role will assist with sample management, testing documentation, shipping, and coordination with R&D, QA, and Package Engineering teams. Responsibilities Assist R&D Lab Specialist I with daily laboratory activities. Receive, organize, prepare, and manage samples throughout the testing process. Fill and assemble samples for testing. Track testing status, observations, and results accurately. Evaluate samples at required testing timepoints and maintain retain/storage samples. Prepare and ship samples to vendors and cross-functional partners. Organize and manage international bulk standards and coordinate their shipment. Follow laboratory procedures, SOPs, and safety guidelines. Support additional laboratory and administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering field preferred, or relevant experience in QA, R&D, manufacturing, or laboratory environments. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions, SOPs, and established procedures. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with SAP is preferred.
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
