GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Southern Wesleyan University's (SWU) School of Science, Technology, and Mathematics invites applications for part-time, adjunct faculty positions in Forensic Science. We seek adjunct faculty to teach courses in Forensic Science Capstone, Forensic Biology, Forensic laboratory Processes, Forensic Chemistry, and Forensic Computing. Candidates with other areas of specialization may be considered for future teaching opportunities. Opportunities are available in Fall 2023 . The School of Science, Technology, and Mathematics is where the scope of learning involves evidence-based and applied learning opportunities integrated into the classroom and extra-curricular activities, all of which focus on the Christian faith within our disciplines.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach courses in forensic science in a predominantly face-to-face modality. Hybrid and/or online courses may be possible in some cases (at least one synchronous lecture/discussion session per week is required).

Laboratory Processes Face-to-Face Collaborate with the program coordinator and other faculty in the program. Additional opportunities to develop and update the Forensic science course or curriculum for additional pay.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Academic. A master's degree or earned a doctorate in Forensic science or a related area with at least 18 graduate credits in Forensic science. Preference will be given to applicants with previous college teaching experience. Desire and/or experience integrating the Christian faith with the teaching and practice of Forensic science discipline are essential. Mission and Lifestyle Expectations.
