is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager/Scientist to lead Brownfields assessment, remediation, and redevelopment projects throughout the western United States. The successful candidate will manage projects, maintain client relationships, supervise staff, and provide technical leadership for environmental site assessment and remediation projects. This role combines project management, client development, field oversight, and technical report preparation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage and execute Brownfields assessment, cleanup, and redevelopment projects, as well as other environmental investigation and remediation projects from planning through completion. Develop project scopes of work, budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and technical approaches. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, regulators, and project stakeholders. Support EPA Brownfields Assessment, Cleanup, Multipurpose, and Revolving Loan Fund grant programs, including work plans, site assessments, cleanup planning, reporting, and stakeholder coordination. Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate work with scientists, engineers, geologists, risk assessors, and subcontractors. Oversee project execution to ensure technical quality, schedule adherence, budget performance, and regulatory compliance. Prepare and review QAPPs, work plans, technical reports, and regulatory deliverables, ensuring compliance with EPA requirements and client objectives. Perform and oversee environmental data validation, analysis, and interpretation. Develop practical, defensible recommendations to support site characterization, risk management, and remedial decision-making. Supervise, mentor, and manage technical staff, including workload planning, staffing assignments, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution. Support business development efforts by developing and maintaining client relationships and identifying new opportunities to expand environmental assessment, remediation, and Brownfields services. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Studies, Environmental Health, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 8 to 10 years of environmental consulting, regulatory, or related experience. Demonstrated experience managing Brownfields, CERCLA, RCRA, UST/LUST or similar environmental assessment and remediation projects. Experience conducting and managing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. Strong working knowledge of EPA and state environmental regulations and guidance. Experience preparing QAPPs, technical reports, and regulatory deliverables. Experience performing environmental data validation and quality assurance reviews consistent with EPA requirements. Demonstrated project management experience, including scope, schedule, budget, and subcontractor management. Strong client management and communication skills. Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing technical staff. Excellent technical writing, analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record. Preferred Qualifications Experience with EPA Brownfields grants and redevelopment programs.
