Office and active construction site We are seeking an Equipment Database Specialist to support new generation projects by developing and validating equipment and asset databases prior to facility turnover and operation. This is a hands-on role focused on Maximo, equipment hierarchy, maintenance data, equipment tagging, and database accuracy. Responsibilities Develop and validate equipment databases for new generation projects. Reconcile equipment information from IFC drawings, Master Equipment Lists (MELs), vendor documentation, equipment manuals, and other project deliverables. Build and maintain Maximo asset and equipment hierarchies. Validate equipment and asset data for accuracy and completeness. Develop and maintain LOTO and TagsPro database information. Support equipment tagging activities and plant equipment identification. Develop job plans and preventive maintenance records. Review engineering drawings, vendor documentation, O&M manuals, and project documentation to ensure equipment data is complete and ready for turnover. Track work progress and coordinate with engineering, operations, maintenance, EPCs, and project stakeholders. Resolve equipment data discrepancies and obtain missing source documentation. Support data quality audits, process improvements, lessons learned, and equipment database best practices. Qualifications Experience working with IBM Maximo or a similar CMMS/asset management system. Experience with equipment or asset hierarchy development and maintenance data. Experience developing preventive maintenance records and/or job plans. Ability to review engineering drawings and technical documentation. Experience working with equipment lists, vendor documentation, O&M manuals, or similar project documentation. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies. Experience in power generation, utilities, industrial facilities, EPC, or construction environments is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Work Environment Work will be performed in an office environment and/or active construction site. Standard construction-site PPE is required, including hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, high-visibility clothing/vest, and hearing protection as applicable. The role may require occasional ladder climbing. No regular lifting or physical labor is required. The contractor will be required to drive a company vehicle onsite. Typical construction-site hazards may be present, including slip/trip/fall hazards, heavy equipment, and overhead lifting operations.
